Having worn out suspension parts can cause costly problems with the tires and brakes by wearing them out much quicker. Shocks and struts should be replaced if they show signs of problems or around 75,000-100,000 miles.
The battery, starter, and alternator all work together to help start the vehicle and keep it running once it is started. Batteries last around 4 to 5 years depending driving habits and weather conditions. We inspect the battery, alternator and starter at each oil change to help prevent you from getting stranded. The drive belts on the engine typically last around 5 years. The belt runs the accessories on the engine like the alternator, power steering, and water pump. They wear down and can cause squeaking.
